-8 hrs sleep -walked 5 minutes to warm-up and then ran 30 minutes @ 165+ hr. -stretched and did 25 minute yoga zone tape. -ate and then studied for 4.5 hrs. -30 minute nap. -Went to an American Karate System class (don't ask.) Did some basic calisthenics and and stretched real well. Taught a standing guillotine chain. -went home, drank a beer and ate within 45 min. of completing workout. -drank another and prepped for pass-out.

-8+hrs sleep -got up and walked 5 minutes to warmup and then ran 35min. with a weight vest @ >165hr. -ate decent within my window and studied for 4hrs. -rode my bike on errands. 1-2 miles. -studied another hour, took an hour nap and studied for another hour. -did 1hr mitt work, 1/2 hr clinch pummeling, drilled for 1hr, rolled for 30min(not hard). -movies, food within window, miller lite, bed.

Nope. Just bored and obsessed. -8hrs sleep. -25 minutes Yoga. -regular meals. pretty light and some homemade Taiwanese. -Studied 4+hrs -Went to a Karate class. Did lots of stretching and some real light calisthenics. Liked the stretching. Taught some simple clinch stuff. -Studied another hour and tutored the Taiwanese kids in English. -Rode my bike 3-5 miles commuting. -Real good semi-rest day. -Miller Lite, lots of water, choclate, nuts, sleep.

-7 hours sleep -got up, walked for 5min and then ran 39min with weight vest @hr>165. walked 5-10 minutes to cool down. -Ate some junk. Need to get some kind of breakfast plan besides caffeine/water. -Studied 3hrs -gotta go to class. probably done for the day. Hopefully, good meals tonight.

Had a few days rest. Ate decent. Will run in the a.m. and work out later if possible. Have a paper and a midterm this week.

-Rode about 2 miles on the bike last night doing errands. Didn't get enough to eat. Had like a slice of pizza, some nuts, some wasabi peas, choclate and miller lite. Got 8hrs. though. Need to drink more water. -Tutored English 1hr. Studied, worked on paper 4hrs. -Got up and ran 30 min. @ > 165hr. saw 4 turtles, got soaked. -Stretched...O.K. I freaking lied. -Worked on paper 4+hrs. got it done and started studying for midterm on Wed. -Worked out 3hrs with Josh and two friends @ school. Did mitt work to warmup. Josh taught a sprawl drill. Reviewed mount escpapes and drilled. 3 step arm/drill. Takedowns/drill. Did co-op rolling with the new people for 30 min. Rolled with Josh and got dominated on position. Tapped him a lot,but he was probably up on points every time. On upcoming workouts do not finish until on top-no guard subs. -rode probably another 2 miles. -Beer, lots of agua, sleep. Tomorrow...Bas

-7hrs. sleep -real dehydrated yesterday. -Got up and ran/walked 1 mile to warmup. Did Bas' all around fighting workout. also 50 pushups and 50 burpees. Did 20x50yd sprints. Kept hr @ greater than 170 through the workout. Allowed it to go down to 165 between spints when my hr was>175. Wore weight vest for the whole thing. -Ran another 1-1.5 miles to cool down. -rode another 2-3 miles doing errands. -Normal meals, but a little heavy on carbs. These Taiwanese are freaking killing me with good chow. They do not understand "very little rice please." -tutored English, studied 3 hrs. Ate and went to bed. -Still have a dehydration headache. Must drink more. -I think this training log section is really benefitting me and I hope everyone else is using it. Remember-They only thing that you have any control over is your own training. You can't control what your opponent does and you can't control fate. So train hard and have faith in what you are doing. I think Butch had the quote of the year. "If you lost a fight because you got tired, Fuck You."

Weekend workouts -Did Bas x 2 on friday and saturday morning. -got good sleep on both nights. -ate pasta on saturday and it f@#$ me all up. Went and shit like 7 times. Never binge on pasta. MAIR. Figure that shit out. -Sunday. Ran long point trail w/weight vest. hr>170. Felt good. Time<25min. -Studied 4+ hrs. on Sat. 3+ Sun. -back at it Monday.

-8hrs sleep -rode the bike on errands total probably 3 miles. -3 rounds mitt work with some ground drills. Decent workout but not that physically hard. Felt flexible though. -Normal meals. Up early to run and study.

-6hrs sleep -ran 44min @>165hr. with weight vest. Actually felt reall good. -energy bar and choclate milk breakfast. -studied 4+hrs. It was real frickin boring. -rode 2-3miles commuting -Taiwanese venison for dinner. -2.5 hr workout. Mittwork, drills, and rolling. Good technique workout, but not that physically hard. -Taiwanese food and beer. Sleep.

Yesterday- -7hrs sleep. -got up and ran 44min @>165hr. with weight vest. Felt real good. Ate within window. Went and studied 4+hrs. -tutored English and then ate Taiwanese. Pigs feet and ears Chinese style. I shit you not. -Worked out 3hrs. Good session. Drilled, did mitt work and rolled. Did a good drill where the trainer holds the kicking shield and calls out technique combos. In between combos, the person sprawls or does burpees. 2x2minutes was real hard after other mitt work. -beer, food, sleep.
Today- -8hrs sleep. -Got up and ran 25min@>165hr with weight vest. Got home and crapped out some pigs ears. -went and studied.

The instructor's name is John. Not sure of his last name. He's a city cop here in Salem and I think he used to be police chief. I didn't mean to seem anti-TMA and I know that's how it came off. John has a good group and they're real happy with the training that they're getting there-it's just not my thing. It's where most of us started and we just moved on to other things. John's been nothing but good to me and a couple of his people are working out with me up at Salem. I'll try to get back up to see you again, Phil. I've been busy like a cat covering crap. John.
