Failure to Compete
If a referee feels either competitor is fighting too defensively,
he/she will call time and administer a warning. If this continues the
referee may award a penalty, and possibly terminate the bout.
In any case where the referee decides that the contestants are not
honestly competing, that the knockout or the foul is a prearranged
termination of the bout, he/she will not finish the knockout count or
disqualify a contestant for fouling or render a decision, but shall
stop the bout and declare the contest ended not later than before the
start of the last round.
The announcer or the referee shall inform the audience that no
decision will be rendered.
Failure to Resume Contest
No contestant shall leave the ring during the rest period between
rounds.
Should any contestant fail or refuse to resume fighting when the bell
sounds denoting the commencement of the next round, the referee will
award a technical knockout to his/her opponent as of the round last
finished. |
