Training:
We have a very successful
children's program as well as a very successful adult program. Each
individual receives as much attention as possible and it is our goal to
make sure you get as much as you can out of your training.
Goals:
Our number one goal is to have
fun! Training is a hobby for most people and we know that.
Therefore, not everyone who trains at Advanced BKJ is there to compete.
We have many members who are
there to learn, stay in shape, meet new people, and just have fun.
Each person brings something new into the gym and we look forward to
meeting and working with everyone that we can!
Opportunity:
As a member of Advanced BKJ,
you are a member of a very large group that is expanding across the
state. Each member has the
opportunity to learn and advance as much as they possibly can. Our
mission is to help you achieve your personal goals!
The Charleston group of
Advanced BKJ routinely has Royce Gracie in for seminars. As a member
of Advanced BKJ, you have the
opportunity to be ranked by the legendary Royce
Gracie.
Royce is the only three time tournament champion in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship and his family is responsible for creating
Gracie Jiu Jitsu, which many people consider to be the most dominant style
of martial arts to come about in the last 80 years. Click

Members also have the chance
to be ranked in Judo under Aaron Chapman. Aaron comes from a very
strong Judo background with an impressive lineage.
Here is some some additional information on
Aaron's lineage and his instructor:
