Stand-up Class Changes
Guys,
We are changing up our stand-up classes a bit (boxing and kickboxing) as well as the times.
We are starting a new class on Monday:
Technical Boxing (No Sparring).
It will meet from 6-7pm
This is a no sparring boxing class. It’s meant to work on the more technical aspects of boxing and include more drills and exercises to improve your boxing technique. There is not one person who does not need to work on their technique or conditioning. Therefore, this class is for everyone (beginners and/or seasoned fighters).
We also look to see a lot of new faces because this takes the pressure off those who may want to learn to box but don’t want to get into the ring with a seasoned fighter (or feel like they need to). A person who attends this class will learn how to box and defend themselves, and they will learn everything that everyone does in every other boxing class. The only difference will be the lack of sparring. Often times, sparring takes the place of learning and we are looking to change that.
As stated, this also gives many people a chance to try boxing, and learn a useful skill, without going to work with black eyes or a beat up face. Many times, this is the only thing that stops many people from learning a great art and participating in something that will get them in better shape and ultimately make their style of life a lot healthier. I meet people every day who want to learn the art if boxing for self-defense purposes or to get in shape, but have no desire to compete or go through the normal daily grind of the regular classes. Now is the chance to participate is something great, because this class truly is for everybody.
Further Changes:
Regular Boxing/kickboxing will meet Wednesday at 6pm & Sunday at 3pm
There are no changes to Muay Thai, MMA, BJJ, etc
However, for our fight team members, an extra hour will be added to MMA, etc to give you further training at the end of the normal classes. This will be discussed very soon.
Thanks guys and please spread the word about the new class,
Butch Hiles

Interesting, I have not heard about this
I absolutely agree with the above comment
There are a few companies that are running acai berry pyramid schemes which have gotten a few people confused. Watch out for programs like this but do not let scams distort your perception of the acai berries value.
Your enjoy reading your blog, it is one of my favorites.
